Compilations come from a number of sources. Some of them are items that can be bought, although these often crop up in different countries. Most of them however, are promo items. They are issued by the record copies to promote Dream Theater and other bands on the roster. Alternatively, they are given away with magazines. Some of them are difficult to find because they were not retained when first given out or they are also sought by collectors of the other bands on the CD.
